1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using our Services, you agree to be bound by these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree to these Terms, you may not access or use our Services.

2. Description of Services

Rent Report provides rental property analysis tools that enable investors and landlords to evaluate rental properties. Our Services include:

• Rent estimates and comparable market analysis
• Cash flow, cap rate, and return on investment calculations
• Deal scores based on your inputs and criteria
• Saved report history
• Own-home rent gap analysis

Analysis results are based on third-party market data and user-provided inputs. Results are estimates only and should not be relied upon as the sole basis for investment decisions.

3. Account Registration

To use certain features of our Services, you must register for an account. When you register, you agree to:

• Provide accurate, current, and complete information
• Maintain the security of your account
• Accept responsibility for all activities that occur under your account
• Notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account

Free trial accounts receive 5 lifetime reports. Paid accounts receive the report allowance for their plan, reset monthly.

4. Payment Processing and Merchant of Record

All purchases are processed by our online reseller Lemon Squeezy, which acts as the Merchant of Record for all orders. When you complete a purchase, your transaction is legally with Lemon Squeezy, not directly with Clear Interaction LLC. As Merchant of Record, Lemon Squeezy:

• Processes and secures all payments (PCI-DSS compliant)
• Calculates and remits applicable sales tax and VAT globally
• Handles chargebacks and payment disputes
• Issues receipts and manages billing communications

By purchasing, you also agree to Lemon Squeezy's Buyer Terms and Privacy Policy.

5. Subscription Plans and Billing

Rent Report offers various subscription plans, including a free trial and paid tiers. By selecting a paid plan, you agree to pay all applicable fees as described at the time of purchase. Paid plans are recurring subscriptions billed through Lemon Squeezy on a monthly or annual basis until you cancel.

• Billing: Subscriptions are billed in advance. You will receive a receipt from Lemon Squeezy for each charge.
• Automatic Renewal: Your subscription renews automatically at the end of each billing period. You may cancel auto-renewal at any time from your account settings — access continues until the end of the paid period.
• Price Changes: We may change our prices with 30 days' notice. Existing subscribers will be notified before any price change takes effect on their next billing cycle.
• Failed Payments: If a payment fails, Lemon Squeezy will attempt to retry the charge. Continued failure may result in suspension of your subscription.

6. Refund Policy

If you are unsatisfied with your purchase for any reason, you are entitled to a full refund within 14 days of your purchase date — no questions asked. To request a refund, email us at support@rentreport.io.

Since Lemon Squeezy is our Merchant of Record, all refunds are processed by Lemon Squeezy. Lemon Squeezy may also independently issue refunds within 60 days of a purchase to resolve disputes or prevent chargebacks, in accordance with their Buyer Terms.

7. Acceptable Use

You agree to use our Services only for lawful purposes. You agree not to:

• Use the Services in any way that violates applicable laws
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the Services
• Use the Services to transmit malware or harmful code
• Interfere with or disrupt the Services
• Scrape or use automated means to access the Services without permission
• Reverse engineer or decompile any part of the Services
• Resell or redistribute the Services without authorization

8. Your Data and Content

You retain ownership of all data and content you submit to the Services. By submitting content, you grant Rent Report a limited license to use, store, and process that content solely to provide the Services to you.

9. Intellectual Property

The Services and all associated intellectual property rights are owned by Clear Interaction LLC. These Terms do not grant you any right, title, or interest in the Services except for the limited license to use the Services.

10. Disclaimer of Warranties

THE SERVICES ARE PROVIDED "AS IS" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. RENT ESTIMATES AND ANALYSIS RESULTS ARE APPROXIMATIONS BASED ON THIRD-PARTY DATA AND DO NOT CONSTITUTE FINANCIAL OR INVESTMENT ADVICE.

11. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, CLEAR INTERACTION LLC SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY SHALL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID IN THE TWELVE MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM.

12. Termination

You may terminate your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access for violation of these Terms. Upon termination, your right to use the Services will cease immediately.

13. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by the laws of the State of South Carolina. Any disputes shall be resolved through binding arbitration.
