  • Account Information: Name and email address (provided via Google OAuth)
  • Property Data: Addresses and property details you enter when running analyses
  • Payment Information: Payment and billing details are processed directly by Lemon Squeezy as Merchant of Record — we never see or store your card details (see Section 3 below)
  • Communications: Support requests and feedback

1.2 Information We Collect Automatically

  • Usage Data: Features used, report count, and session activity
  • Device Information: Device type, OS, browser, IP address, access times, and referring URLs
  • Cookies: See Section 8 below

  • Provide, maintain, and improve our Services
  • Process transactions and send related information
  • Send technical notices, updates, and support messages
  • Respond to your questions and customer service requests
  • Monitor and analyze trends and usage

3. Payment Data and Lemon Squeezy

We use Lemon Squeezy as our Merchant of Record for all payment processing. Lemon Squeezy acts as an independent data controller for the payment data it collects. We never receive or store your full payment card details.

When you make a purchase, Lemon Squeezy directly collects and processes:

  • Payment card details and billing address
  • Name and email address
  • IP address and country (for tax calculation)
  • Transaction and subscription history

Lemon Squeezy shares your name, email address, country, and subscription status with us solely to activate and manage your Rent Report subscription and provide customer support. We do not receive your card number or full billing address.

4. How We Share Your Information

We do not sell your personal information. We may share your information:

  • With Your Consent: When you explicitly authorize sharing
  • Payment Processing: With Lemon Squeezy, our Merchant of Record, to process transactions and manage subscriptions
  • Service Providers: Vendors who perform services on our behalf (hosting, property data API)
  • Property Data API: Property addresses you submit are sent to RentCast to retrieve market rent estimates
  • Business Transfers: In connection with mergers or acquisitions
  • Legal Requirements: When required by law
  • Aggregated Data: Anonymized data that cannot identify you

5. Data Security

  • Encryption: TLS in transit, encrypted at rest
  • Access Controls: Row-level security in our database
  • Authentication: OAuth via Google — we never store passwords
  • Infrastructure: Hosted on Supabase with enterprise-grade cloud infrastructure

6. Data Retention

  • Personal data deleted within 30 days of account deletion
  • Financial records retained up to 7 years for compliance
  • Anonymized analytics may be retained indefinitely

  • Access: View your data in account settings
  • Correction: Update your information anytime
  • Deletion: Request account and data deletion
  • Opt-out: Unsubscribe from marketing emails

We do not use advertising or cross-site tracking cookies. You can clear cookies at any time through your browser settings, though doing so will log you out.

9. CCPA Rights (California Residents)

California residents have the right to: know what personal data we collect, request deletion of their data, opt-out of the sale of personal data (we do not sell data), and non-discrimination for exercising these rights.

10. Children's Privacy

Our Services are not intended for individuals under 16. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 16. If you believe we have inadvertently collected such data, please contact us and we will delete it promptly.

We will notify you of material changes by email or website notice at least 30 days before changes take effect.
